Hi Stampers,

I thought I would do something a little different tonight.  I made a slightly smaller card (just the width), and created a vellum envelope out vellum cardstock.  I intentionally left a greeting off of this card.  I think it is suitable for a bridal shower or a baby shower.  Just change to blue for a baby boy.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Good Morning!

Last night we made these three projects.  For the first time EVER, I designed a vintage card.  Let me know what you think of it.  I am not sure I will be making any more vintage inspired cards. :)  We did make an awesome birthday card which I LOVE!!  I will be posting another one just like it in yellow for Easter.  The 3-D project we made was a cone candy holder using the cone die for the OCCASIONS MINI.  There are so many adorable projects that you can make with this die.  I will be posting lots of projects in the days and weeks to come.

Hi Stampers,

We have a AWESOME time at Breakfast Club last Friday.  In fact, everyone committed to come back this Friday with the exception of one person.  She will be in Florida.....lucky dog!!!  If you would like to join us this Friday for a very fun, casual morning, email or call me to reserve your spot.

I just love this card!  We made this last at Breakfast Club.  This card is so versatile that you can use it for a thank you card, a birthday card, a get well card or even a sympathy card just to name a few.  To create the bow, follow the tutorial that I posted yesterday.  You can find it on my left side bar titled "How to Tie a Perfect Bow."

Hi Stampers,

I have been asked to prepare a tutorial on how to tie a bow.  Well, here it is!!!!  I hope this is helpful....leave me a comment and let me know.  Check back tomorrow, I will be posting a card we made utilizing this tutorial.

Cut a template from a piece of
cardboard 2 ½ x 3 ¼ .   Cut a slit approximately 2 x ½ up the center.  (see photo)
Cut a piece of ribbon about 14” long.  Hold one end of the ribbon against the front of the template and wrap the ribbon completely around the template ending below the ribbon on the front of the template.
Wrap the ribbon to the front of the template and thread through the slit.

Bring the ribbon to the front by pulling it through the bottom of the slit.

Thread the end of the ribbon up and through the loop (by the thumb).  Notice the end of the ribbon is to the right.  (It MUST be going in this direction.)

Lay the template down and place your left thumb on the end of the ribbon on the left. With your ribbon holding the left end down, pull the right end with your right hand.  (Do not pull the left side.)

Take the bow off of the template and insert your thumb and index fingers into the loops and pull ends to adjust and tighten.
